A Hearty Laugh For A Healthy Heart

The wisest man who ever lived, King Solomon, said: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven ...."

Wisdom is not limited to "serious stuff." Quoting a line from King Solomon's Book, Ecclesiastes:

" ... a time to weep and a TIME TO LAUGH, a time to mourn and a time to dance."

God is a God of humor. If He is not then we won't be seeing anything like this:

Or this:

So, how about a good laugh today, eh?

Here's one from the "Dead Poets ..." Green-ery:

"From 20 to 30 if a man lives right,
It's one in the morning, and one at night.
From 30 to 40 if he still lives right,
He cuts either one, the morning or the night.
From 40 to 50, it's every now and then,
From 50 to 60, only God knows when.
But from 60 to 70, if he is still inclined,
Don't let him kid you, it's only in his mind." (AFP)

Here's another good one:

That's all Folks! Till next post. C ya :)

Thanks Heather for the comment. Yeah, you're right. I like the way you put it: " ...laughing ... even at yourself ...." I think I'd have to do some laughing at myself this time. :)

That's very enlightening:you ought to contribute someting to society out of the talent that God gave you.May I also remind you about the "parable of talents"-when God gives you five talents, you are responsible for multiplying them and sharing them with others appreciative of such gifts.

Thanks a lot PhilosopherKim for your inspiring comment. That was very wonderful of you. As regards your advice, yes, I have in mind starting some kind of a learning center where people learn not just how to make a living but HOW TO LIVE. I hope to be able to realize it not too long from now. Again, many thanks.
